Party All Night?

TBD, but our venue closes us out by 11.

Or Family Friendly?

We've got 3 kids between us and a lot of friends and family with short people (who are absolutely welcome at all events on our wedding weekend!) We will have part of the reception area made up into a kid friendly area and a babysitter or two on premises to help watch the short people. Don't feel obligated to bring or not bring your kids, but know that they're 100% welcome!

Attire:

Though we have no particular stance on formality, some amount of clothing is requested! We will be in suits and dresses, and if we had to guess, "business casual" mixed with "omg i loooooove this dresssssss" would be the vibe of the evening.

Entertainment:

We will have some drinks!

We will have some dancing!

We will have some frivolity!

Eats:

Our event will be catered by some Marty's Meats (BBQ) food trucks. There should be some vegetarian and kid-friendly options available.

Our desserts will be pie. Lots of pie. What kind of pie do you like? Tell us!

What's Happening on the 20th?

What about it:

The idea is to hang out some more with our family and friends. We've got a park and some people and some food around mid-afternoon and we'll have some games to play

Food:

We'll be catered by the Le Petit Poutine food truck! It should show up around 3pm and leave by 4:30 or so.

Drinks:

We'll have soft drinks available, but BYOB (and BUsSomeB too, wouldya?).

When:

July 20th, 2019. We'll probably show up by around noon and everything will peter out by nightfall. The park probably closes around then anyway, so that'll work out well!

Oak Shelter at Churchville Park.

Carpool / Parking:

Group up if you can! We will probably have parking issues - we may need to take advantage of the larger parking lot at the East Lodge, located on N Main St in Churchville, NY, 14428, just north of Black Creek. Here's a location because I can't seem to find an address: 43.110481, -77.884672

Games:

Oh, the games. We will have games of brains, brawn, and bewilderment run by some of our favorite people. Arm wrestling! Video games! Familial Tug of War! Catan Tournament! Contests! (Probably Lame) Prizes! Bragging Rights!  Sign up Today!

Where should we stay?

Though we have no official stance on hotels or local establishments, there are some factors and places we can recommend. Though traffic can sometimes be a factor in our fair city during a 5pm-6pm rush hour, it is unlikely to be an issue for the summer. Roughly everything in the greater rochester metropolitan airport is between 15 and 30 minutes of roughly everything else in rochester.

• Both The Hyatt Regency Rochester and the Hilton Garden Inn are quality places within a 5-10 minute walk of our venue.
• The closest thing to splitting the difference between our wedding venue and our next-day afterparty venue is the Microtell In & Suites by Wyndham in Chili
• There are two Fairfield Inns of note
  • one that is attached to the rochester airport, which is well reviewed and would be very little transportation work to get yourself from the airplane to a hotel room, and
  • one in webster that is not too far from the Stevenson and/or Abounader families
